Like the saying goes
Like the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
When we first started NWMotiv prior to our official launch in 2010, there were a lot of things we set out to accomplish. We wanted to bring the Northwest back into the conversation and show the world what we as a community had to offer.
We’ve come a long way and have done a great deal of things that should make anyone proud. From online and magazine print features, events and everything in between, we dusted off the ashes of a burnt community and built a new one that rivals some of the biggest scenes around the world.
Our work is done and it’s now time for us to hang up the gloves.
Like all things life, family, friends, cars, and communities change. A majority of the founding members of NWMotiv have moved on to focus on their own careers and attend to their growing families. These members sacrificed their own personal time for the greater good, putting in a lot of their own sweat and blood to build NWMotiv into what it became.
2016 will mark the last of events produced by its founding members and could be the very last year for HondaFestNW, TSL Day and DriveNW (formerly known as Forum Fest). Is this the end of NWMotiv all together? That remains to be seen.
If you or someone you know is interested in taking over the production reins and are extremely serious, then it’s suggested you contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss. You must be well-qualified, thick-skinned and have a great team of players at your disposal to help you without sacrificing what NWMotiv has stood for since its inception.
We thank everyone that has been a part of our staff and has stood up for us when the time called. Without your voice, we wouldn’t have lasted for as long as we did.
Be sure to RSVP for the remaining 2016 events:
