A typical start to a day in Washington: cold, cloudy, with a chance of rain. Despite the cold and possibility of rain, the day proved to be a success that exceeded all expectations as the clouds quickly gave way and the crowd swelled. Held at Griot’s Garage in Tacoma, Washington, NOS: Energy Drink’s release party for their new flavor, Citrus Charged, drew a lot of interest. With over 400 cars, the crowds gathered in anticipation for NOS’ Citrus Charged and it did not disappoint.

NWMotiv Project 3 in attendance
In collaboration with Griot’s Garage, NOS’ Citrus Charged release party was extremely busy as those in attendance were able to sample the new flavor, drink their favorites, enjoy catering, have some gaming sessions, and listen to a live DJs. The models were out in full force but were nearly drowned in a sea of Citrus Charged green livery worn by many of the spectators. At every turn, people were wearing NOS shirts, sunglasses, and showing off their NOS lanyards throughout the day.

The car show was impressive and displayed a wide range of tastes. From track cars, drag cars, drift cars, show cars, mini trucks, daily drivers, VIP rides, to imports, domestics, and European cars, it seemed that every style and build design was present. The wide range gave a well-rounded example of what the area had to offer. Among the cars in attendance, several stood out: NOS-sponsored Andrew Coome’s ProAm LS2 drift S13, Speedfactory’s 1,000 hp Honda Civic drag car, the RB26DETT powered S12 built by U.P. Garage USA, an imported ’72 Toyota Starlet, the iconic AE86, a couple of 208 GTB Ferraris, and of course the ever present Ruckuses.

There was a car for all tastes.
The NOS Energy Drink Car Meet was a huge success, as was NOS’ new Citrus Charged Energy Drink. There was an overwhelming love for the new flavor as many were heard to say that it was their new favorite flavor and would definitely buy. There was also much appreciation for the NOS staff for all that was done, and especially for all the NOS models. NOS thanks all those who came by for the Citrus Charge Release Event and for those who did not get a chance to try the new flavor, be sure to look for it in the near future. In addition, be sure to check back for NOS: Energy Drink has more events lined up in the future.
