This past weekend marked a new milestone in the growing automotive scene in the Boise area: Import Revolution 208.   This car show was put on in Boise by people involved in the local scene and was geared to help bring the different styles of car building together, not only show off their work, but bring their work to a new level.   With over 110 cars in the show, there was a massive mix of cars from all makes, years, and models representing all different areas of Idaho and even Utah.   The car show started with a roll-in at 10am and awards at 4pm, so it was a long day in the sun, but well worth it.  Attendees spent the last 6 months preparing their builds for this show and it really showed with the level of cars.   Even Utah residents brought up their A-Game cars for the show.   To help with the heat, the IR208 staff sold bottles of water for $1.00, not to grow the shows profits, but to donate $500 to the St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.

Want to make a quick shout-out to three of the shows sponsors came out in force also with a full line up of cars: IdahoSubie.com, IdahoMotorSports.com, UnKnowncoatings.com.

Brandon, Brandon, Dustin, Steve, and Troy (IR208 Staff) put on a great show. We are looking forward to becoming more involved in next year’s show and see the progress the local Boise scene can make in a year!   Be sure to follow the IR208 Facebook page for more details on the 2012 show: http://www.facebook.com/#!/importrevolution
