It’s been some time before the models of the Northwest had their own spotlight. We are once again bringing that back by featuring some of the best girls from our area. NWMotiv: How does it feel to be the very first feature model for NWMotiv.com?
Amy Boon: I am definitely excited and feel very special to be the first! It will also be my very first feature; I hope the feeling is mutual!

So we have a feature virgin on our hands…don’t worry we’ll be gentle!

Are you originally from here?
From Seattle? No, I was born in New York. I eventually made my way over here living in New Jersey, Chicago, and even Malaysia.

Wow.  You’ve been all over and well traveled I see!  How are you liking Seattle so far?
Seattle is basically my hometown since I’ve lived here most of my life. I like it here a lot, besides the rain!  It’s never too hot or too cold and everyone here is so relaxed!  It’s also one of the healthiest states, which makes me feel a little better every time I crave sweets like cake and ice cream!

How did you get started in modeling?
About two years ago, my friends who are into the import scene started doing photos for their cars and looking through magazines, I thought it’d be fun to do pictures like the import magazines. I had an awesome time and they turned out really well so I decided to continue doing it!  I recently worked with as a spokesmodel for Scion Racing at Formula Drift Seattle; it was a lot of fun! Tanner and Ken are such nice guys!

Yeah!  Tanner and Ken are great guys!  So I take it that you’re into cars?
Yes I am!  I definitely take notice to cars when they drive by, but I don’t judge!  I like my share of Imports and American cars!

So what kind of car do you drive?
I drive a 2004 Mazda RX-8, it’s my baby! |Smiles|

Any modifications done to it?
Well, I didn’t even notice until I got it home, the guy who had it before me put an exhaust on it. Other than that, I did put strakes on it. I call them gills because that’s what I think they look like, haha

We can agree…we love Rotory Power as well! So I’m sure the fellas at home want to know…automatic or stick?
It’s a stick! DRIFT DRIFT DRIFT haha

We dig! Now that we established that you’re into cars what is your dream car?
My RX-8 is my dream car – for practicality I guess. My non-practical dream car would be…a blacked out Bentley coupe. Goodness do I sound spoiled, but they’re so sick!!! If I was a baller…I guess…some day…|Sigh|

Practical yet has room for dreams of exotic ride for the weekends! We like it! Being a newcomer to the scene who are some people and/or other models that you look up to?
My first model “crush” – that’s what I call them, was Misa Campo. I would spend hours looking through her pictures. I like the innocent, yet sexy look which is why most of my pictures are of me smiling haha

Sexy yet innocent and smiling…we like you already! What do you see yourself doing in 5 years?
I am about to start nursing school so I hope to be in a stable job and most importantly, be happy and have little stress. I want to still be modeling then, hopefully traveling around the world doing that. It’s a great way for me to experience the world and help me keep in shape!

Well he has to be a gentleman and introduce himself of course. Once you put a smile on my face, you have all my attention. Just depends on how clever you are on your first impression. That’s all it takes right?  You can’t be too shy or too aggressive. You gotta be just right and you’ll get my attention all night haha I rhymed! |Smiles|

She raps and she heals! We’ll take it!  Now that we know what it takes to get your attention, what are some absolute turn-ons for you?
I love a nice smile and someone that can make me laugh.  Oh, and isn’t afraid to make the moves in public and when we’re alone. |Winks|

And turn-offs?
Cocky guys who brag about how many girls they’ve been with!  Bad hygiene (duh), and when they can’t hold a conversation.

What is a guilty pleasure of yours that nobody knows you enjoy?
How is it a secret if I tell you? I’ll tell you a non-explicit one, how about that? I LOVE TV, especially reality shows. I can sit at home and watch “The Hills” all day. I love their marathons! If I’m not out and about, you’ll find me at home on the couch in front of the TV in my underwear with junk food all around me.

Can we come over and watch…TV that is?
Anytime, I got a big comfy couch with pillows and we can spoon…ice cream that is! |Winks|

Regardless we’re in! You’re making us hungry! What’s your go-to restaurant after a long night at the club or out on the town?
When I want something greasy, I like to go to Applebee’s and get some beer and wings. Otherwise, if I’m out and about, I like sushi because it’s light and delicious. Sake anyone?
