In a world where the tuning scene seems to be either super functional or not functional at all, quality teams have been increasingly few and far between. A huge gap has been unmistakably created between those who prefer subtle aesthetics and track-worthiness and those who prefer poked out wheels and ground-scraping ride heights over track performance. However, one team that stands out as bridging this gap between functionality and style is Project Tuners based out of Beaverton, OR.

Founded in early 2007, the original group of four members has since grown as high as 13, but is now currently down to nine. These small numbers reflect a tight-knit family feel and dedication from each and every member. Since 2007, the team has one numerous team awards, individuals have won their respective classes, and each member is not afraid to take their cars out to the track, which is something most car show based teams typically avoid at all costs. This brings a definitive show and go factor to each car on the team, and helps separate them from most of the other teams in the Northwest and beyond.
Project Tuners members have also been featured in various print magazines such as Performance Auto and Sound and Modified, with more print features to come soon. With already a good number of trophies under their belts and future editorial coverage, there’s no doubt that Project Tuners has a very bright future. Be sure to check them out at just about every major car show that will be happening in the Pacific Northwest!
